The Roma Europa Festival includes the Digital Life exhibition entitled Liquid Landscapes held at the MAXXI (till 10 November) and MACRO Testaccio (till 8 December). You can check out 27 pieces that include multimedia installations, sound environments and interactive works brought together by a common theme – landscape. Through film, digital images and sounds you are able to experience the effect of human actions on natural landscapes. See the consequence of war through images in Ground by Ryoichi Kurokawa or feel the influence of control on a certain place through three works – Content of the Fund, Narcissus and Butterfly Effect by Donato Piccolo.
The novelty of this edition of Digital Life 2013 Liquid Landscapes is the partnership with the artistic production centre Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains, which will also be present with a selection of artists trained in the centre over the past years and active in the field of multimedia installations and video art.
