Where eat and dance in Rome…

This month we will tell you which are the best nightlife spots in Rome where you can grab something to eat and party at the same time.

The first location on the list is one of the most popular locations at the moment, Shari Vari Playhouse, now in its third full season, the interior design of this spot is reminiscent of an American house from the 50s. The name comes from Sharing & Variety, born from the same song, sharivari, it that represents a new way to party and enjoy oneself. Here you can enjoy their restaurant in the champagne room, which is a regular sit down dinner or enjoy a more casual atmosphere in the bistrot area. The food is truly amazing, great portions and quality and while you eat you can enjoy listening to some of the better DJs the capital has to offer. Shari Vari is also located in the heart of Rome near the Pantheon. Open every night except Mondays. Reservation Info: +39.334.253.2673

Another fun spot is Elle, located on Via Veneto where the “dolce vita” originated, this restaurant offers amazing service with a cool sleek design and its divided between various floors all facing the main hall, which around midnight becomes the dance floor. The food is great, the sound system is loud and the people are beautiful, dress to impress if you want to get in as the door selection is very strict. The restaurant is open for lunch every day except Saturday and Sunday and every night for dinner except Monday. At night parties go on till 4am. Reservation Info: +39.06.420.10164

A new spot in Rome you might want to check out before it becomes too popular or before they close it down for being too loud is Piazza Coppelle, called that after the same square where it resides, this restaurant is owned by various partners who were or still are prominent DJs in Italy’s nightlife scene, so besides getting a good meal you also get top quality music, mostly of the electro/rockabilly type. The place is very dark, covered in mirrors and dim lighting so its unusual in its design, however, the cuisine is typical Italian, just like mamma used to make. Worth a shot, it’s open every night from 6pm till 2am except for Mondays. Reservation Info: +39.338.173.8854

If you’re around the Colosseo area we invite you to check out Caffe’ Propaganda on Via Claudia 15. This location offers more of a laid back café/tea room type atmosphere. Very visible and eye-catchy from the outside. Inside the design is very bright with its white tiles and retro style. The kitchen opens at noon every day till 2am and is headed by world-renowned chefs Stéphane Betmon and Agostino Brugnano. This Paris-style bistro is a real gem and will stay around for a while thanks to its amazing cuisine. Reservation Info: +39.06.945.34255
