If you\u2019re a student, freelancer, remote worker or digital nomad, this list of cafes in Florence offers locations where you can find wifi and get some work or studying done, fueled by the occasional espresso and distracted only by the people watching!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f0f2f4\"><span style=\"color: #dd3333;\"><strong>INSPIRATION<\/strong><\/span><br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/florence-coolest-coworking-spots\/\">Florence\u2019s Coolest Coworking Spots<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ditta-artigianale\">Ditta Artigianale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Via dello Sprone, 5r<\/em><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dittaartigianale.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dittaartigianale.it<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Ditta-Artigianale.jpg\" alt=\"Ditta Artigianale Florence\" class=\"wp-image-879\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is probably my number one spot for a place with great coffee, sandwiches and snacks and a lot of tables spread out over a few open spaces and levels so you can usually find a quiet corner to hole up in for awhile and get some work done. They have two locations but their more recently opened one on Via dello Sprone is my favorite for all the light that comes in through the huge windows and their seriously good coffee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-color has-css-opacity has-black-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sit-n-breakfast\">Sit\u2019N\u2019Breakfast<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Via San Gallo, 21r<\/em><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sitandbreakfast.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sitandbreakfast.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/SitNBreakfast.jpg\" alt=\"Sit'N'Breakfast Florence\" class=\"wp-image-880\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This location isn\u2019t just a bar with tables, but an actual co-working space not far from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/accademia-gallery-florence\/\">Accademia Gallery<\/a> and complete with ample table space, plugs, internet and printers \u2013 it\u2019s an office away from home. You can even rent out areas if you need to have a group meeting with your team. They do have hourly, daily and monthly rates to use this coworking space so you\u2019ll be spending a bit more than just grabbing a coffee but you\u2019ll be in more of a working environment than some of the other spots on this list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f0f2f4\"><span style=\"color: #dd3333;\"><strong>INSPIRATION<\/strong><\/span><br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/florence-best-bookstores-guide\/\">Florence&#8217;s Best Bookshops<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-color has-css-opacity has-black-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-todo-modo\">Todo Modo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Via dei Fossi, 15\/R<\/em><br><a href=\"https:\/\/todomodo.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">todomodo.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Todo-Modo-Florence-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Todo Modo Florence\" class=\"wp-image-881\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Part bookshop, part enoteca, part caff\u00e8, part event space, Todo Modo has it all so somedays you\u2019ll find friends sharing a glass of wine or tables rearranged for an upcoming event but on a normal afternoon, you can usually find a table surrounded by shelves of books where you can set up your computer for a few hours. The temptation to buy a book on your way out may be the biggest workplace hazard here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-color has-css-opacity has-black-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-menagere\">La Menagere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Via de&#8217; Ginori, 8\/R<\/em><br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lamenagere.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lamenagere.it<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Menagere-Florence.jpg\" alt=\"Menagere Florence\" class=\"wp-image-883\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Menagere is open from early morning til past midnight so you could literally spend the whole day in this gorgeous space that blends modern interior design with rustic bare walls and Renaissance arches like only a Florentine location can do! While most of the space is reserved for lunch and dinner (or the flower and homeware shop) there is a more casual corner where you can hang out with a friend and get some work done and they also have some tables outside where I often find freelancers and students bent over laptops and sipping on coffee or green juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-color has-css-opacity has-black-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-red-feltrinelli\">RED Feltrinelli<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Piazza della Repubblica, 26-27-28-29 R<\/em><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lafeltrinelli.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lafeltrinelli.it<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/La-Feltrinelli-Red-Florence-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Red Feltrinelli Florence\" class=\"wp-image-885\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Piazza della Repubblica is bordered by large, beautiful caff\u00e8s on all sides but don\u2019t be lured into their tea rooms if what you\u2019re looking for is a spot to grab a mug of coffee and get some work done. Instead, head to the RED Feltrinelli bookstore under the porticoed arches where you\u2019ll find numerous large tables and a more casual vibe. It can be a little noisy depending on the time of day with some people meeting for English\/Italian exchanges and friends catching up and you might want to avoid the lunch hour rush but it\u2019s a good place to camp out with your computer for a while if you\u2019re in the city center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f0f2f4\"><span style=\"color: #dd3333;\"><strong>INSPIRATION<\/strong><\/span><br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/libraries-in-florence\/\">Florence&#8217;s Best Libraries<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-color has-css-opacity has-black-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-cite-libreria\">La Cite Libreria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Borgo S. Frediano, 20\/R<\/em><br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacitelibreria.info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lacitelibreria.info<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/La-Cite-Florence.jpg\" alt=\"La Cite Libreria Florence\" class=\"wp-image-888\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This beautiful and cozy space is absolutely perfect for getting some work done in a creative environment. Its part bookstore and part caff\u00e8 with shelves of books and wooden tables and chairs on multiple levels, offering wifi and outlets near most tables. If you\u2019re in the San Frediano neighborhood this is a great spot to catch up on work before the aperitivo hour starts calling out the cocktail crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-black-color has-css-opacity has-black-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sottarno-commestibili\">Sottarno Commestibili<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Via Maggio, 53 R<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.romeing.it\/florence\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Sottarno-Firenze.jpg\" alt=\"Sottarno Firenze\" class=\"wp-image-892\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I love the vintage vibe of this little caff\u00e8 in the Oltrarno. I\u2019ve always found it relatively quiet with just a few guests from the Soprarno Suites passing through or locals stopping in for an espresso and a chat. Its tranquility makes it a good spot to read a book or catch up on some emails in peace.
