Along the stretch of via Portuense famous for its weekly flea market, a hip, cozy industrial style bar has reopened in a former storage facility. Serving up an original tapas menu, and unique power-packing cocktails, Magazzino 33 is poised to become your favorite locale for late-night drinks with friends or your go-to date spot.
The tapas, or “small plates” menu includes international favorites such as moussaka, the “33 Kebab” and soul chicken, as well as desserts. The kitchen is open until 12:30, so you can come for a snack then drink and eat your way through the tapas menu for dinner.
The bar has artisanal bottled beer as well as a vast selection of classic spirits and the new cocktail menu created by one of Rome’s best mixologists uses spices, homemade syrups and infusions to create extraordinary flavors. Try the Captain & Kaiser as well as the BE-MITO and be blown away.
Recycled vintage furniture, including 1930’s train cars are used as the booth seats in this tunnel shaped bar. Various hanging plants line the brick walls, adding greenery to the to the funky and eclectic space.
