This cozy restaurant in the north of Rome ( off of Via Flaminia) combines traditional Mediterranean cuisine with a homey American atmosphere. It’s your mother’s kitchen but better! The Italo-American owner blends both of her worlds to create dishes like jalapenos stuffed with cheddar cheese, homemade gnocchi with clams or lava cake spiced up with peperoncino-a must try!
A variety of homemade pastas, pizza, chicken, steak, and seafood dishes are available along with an extensive wine list. Then, pancakes and maple syrup, eggs, sausages, fresh fruit and American coffee, it’s sure to satisfy any craving for a taste of home!
The music is relaxing, the staff is very friendly and they speak a multitude of languages to assist you with ordering. There is an outdoor patio filled with plants and a retractable roof for dining under the stars and fresh air.
There is easy access to the place by train, as the Labaro station is right across the street..not even a half a block away. You should call ahead to make reservations, as the place is always packed.
