Just another party week

Your Nighlife Agenda in Rome

Your Nightlife Agenda in Rome

So you’re visiting Rome for a whole week and don’t know what to see or where to go? well, we’ve got you covered. Here is a weekly lineup of what’s good in the Eternal City on every single day of the week, from cocktail parties, to dancing to the typical “aperitivo”.

Your Nighlife Agenda in RomeSo on Monday, usually the most boring day of the week we actually start off pretty upbeat with the Any Given Monday (AGM) parties; entering their 5th season they have been rocking Rome for a while now and have been more and more successful, warning, this is not your typical “dolce vita” event, but instead a full on rock and roll party with an happy electro mix, the crowd is on the younger side but if you have an open mind and feel like partying then this is the place for you, usually located at Club Qube in Via Di Portonaccio 12, dress-code is vintage/casual, from midnight to 4am.

After a crazy Monday, you might decide to relax on Tuesday and here we actually have few options for a nice “aperitivo” right in the center, the first place is Gusto28, located in Piazza Augusto Imperatore 28, and the second one is actually only 150 meters away at Via Tomacelli 23 at La.Vi. The previously mentioned Gusto28 is a lovely restaurant/wine-bar where you can really go every evening and have a glass of wine, relax and really take it easy, its food is top quality and its service is impeccable. (Dinner Reservations +39.334.253.2673), Meanwhile, La.Vi. comes from the word “latteria & vineria” which mean “milk & wine” to suggest how it is always open from breakfast to dinner. If you go to La.Vi. on Tuesday ask for Renatino at the door.

Salotto42 RomeOn Wednesday evening one of my personal favorite locations in Rome is Salotto42, this place is a very simple and small lounge in the heart of the city, near the Pantheon (Piazza di Pietra 42), yet it has become a landmark for Romans and it really is good every night, but because of its size I usually prefer coming here earlier in the week to avoid big crowds. It has a simple yet very good finger food buffet, drinks are very well done and you always get service with a smile.

Thursday is a fun day to go out in Rome because more events start getting organized and often they take place on some very nice hotel rooftops or gardens hidden in the center of Rome. These days we suggest you check out La Griffe Hotel on Via Nazionale 13, you must RSVP (+39.334.253.2673) and once you go you’ll be very pleased to see one of the best views in Rome. From 8pm to Midnight. Also on Thursday night, if you want to boogie you can check out La Cabala club, one of the oldest clubs in Rome located right in the center of town near Piazza Navona, its the spot if you want to dance, also must RSVP and the dress code here is casual-chic, open from midnight to 4am.

Your Nighlife Agenda in RomeBy the time Friday comes around you might be a little tired but you cannot be tired before checking out the best club in Rome; Shari Vari Playhouse, entering its third year its one of the biggest clubs in the center of Rome, and this gives it exactly that extra step above everyone else, you can go here for dinner, aperitivo and/or dancing, no matter what you decide we suggest you check it out on Friday as the parties get crazy, dress code is always casual-chic and you must RSVP (334.253.2673) to get on the list or to reserve a table.

Saturday is always the craziest night of the week manly because everyone goes out, the good thing is that everything is open and everything is full, you can check out some of the previously mentioned location or you can go for a walk in the center and get lost around the Via Della Pace area, there you will find a few nice lounges that I’m sure will spark your attention.

And “on the seventh day God completed his work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done”. Unfortunately you’re not God and we’re not done working. Sunday is always a good day for brunch in Rome and a new place you might want to check out is Haus Garten, despite its German name its the only bagel-restaurant in the capital and they make a very good American brunch on Sundays, accompanied by a live Dj-Set and a rich drinks and food menu, and just in case they are actually open every night from 7pm to 2am if you feel like having a drink. Piazza Monte Grappa 1.
