Rome: so much to see, so little time. Did you ever think how great it would be if you could sit back, relax and have a personal driver show you all the city sights? Wait, you can!
We’ve all heard of Uber, the app that lets you e-hail rides in cities across the world. The quick, reliable and cheap chauffeur car service is a hit amongst Romani, who have been summoning the innovative transport option with their smartphones since 2013. Now, Uber is launching the next step for mobility in the eternal city: UberTOUR.
Starting May 20th, Uber Tour allows you to see the top epic viewpoints and landmarks in Rome at the click of a button. The concept is the same as regular Uber: you request an available “UberTOUR” in your area, then hop in for a two – two and a half hour scenic drive across the city. Along with pick-up and drop-off, the tour includes plenty of photo stops at Rome’s most important sights, not to mention a free backpack, Uber guide and bottled water. It’s not a guided tourist tour, but rather a flexible car journey with pre-determined stop-off points.
For 100 euro, you can cruise the roads of Rome from the comfort of your vehicle, see some of the city’s finest gems and get some excellent snaps, all without breaking a sweat.
