September Nightlife

September has never been the most lovable month for anyone, its that time of year when school starts up again and if not that then the office is calling, however, whatever you might be going back to here is a reason to keep smiling as Rome still has plenty to offer in its final weeks of summer, so listen up.

If you’re visiting or currently living in Rome you can see that the heat is still here and we’re going to take full advantage of the situation. Most of all of the outdoor lounges and clubs in Rome are still open and will be until the later part of the month. One of the best clubs to check out is the always fun SOFIA, located near the stadium this place has the right mix of rambunctiousness and quality, where the music is great and so is the service, dress to impress if you want to get in, always free entry. Suggested night: Friday.

If you’re looking for something a little more low key then we have a few more options; Isola39 is still the spot if you’re in the “centro” and don’t want to venture too far, this outdoor lounge is located in the middle of Isola Tiberina (between the Jewish ghetto and Trastevere) and it offers a very nice aperitivo every night from 8pm till midnight, always with a live DJ-set its a place where anyone can go and relax. Suggested night: Tuesday.

Also to check out are the new Rock’n Yolk parties going on every Saturday for the month of September at Blow Up River Cafe located on Lungotevere dei Mellini 7, under the Cavour bridge. From midnight till 5am come check out these amazing Rock/Elektro parties, entry is only 10euro at the door and everyone is welcome.

Finally, one party not to miss will be the closing event of Caffe Degli Orti, on Saturday, September 1st, they will host their final party of the season with DJ Groove Assassin directly from the UK, this is a great location, also on the river open from 7pm till 2am. Must see if you love the alternative scene.
