Venice and Locarno Films in Rome


From September 15 to 22, come check out the new edition of IL CINEMA ATTRAVERSO I GRANDI FESTIVAL, the event which brings the films from the Locarno Film Festival and from the Venice Film Festival to the Capital.

This 8-day program will be hosted in 16 cinemas throughout the city:  from Trastevere (Alcazar, Intrastevere, Nuovo Sacher) to Prati (Eden Film Center, Giulio Cesare, Adriano), from Pinciano and San Lorenzo (Fiamma, Barberini, Jolly, Mignon, Savoy, Tibur) to Testaccio (Greenwich), and the historic centre (Farnese Persol, Quattro Fontane, Nuovo Olimpia). More than 50 movies will be screened in original version with Italian subtitles from among the most important ones seen in the two festivals (including DESDE ALLÁ – the Leone d’Oro winner and  RIGHT NOW WRONG THEN – the Locarno’s Pardo d’oro winner).
