Fashion’s Big Night Out Returns to Rome
Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out (VFNO) returns to the capital on the night of Thursday 11th of September. Top fashion outlets in Rome’s central Tridente area will come alive from 19.00 to 23.30 as part of an annual, global initiative carried out by Vogue and organised in collaboration with Roma Capitale.
Shoppers will have the possibility to knock elbows with stylists and celebrities and acquire special VFNO merchandise. The glamour-packed schedule also includes exclusive products, limited editions, new launches, DJs, exhibits and more.
The event will take place throughout some of Rome’s most beautiful streets, including Via del Babuino, Via del Corso, Via Vittoria, Via Frattina and Via dei Condotti, along with Piazza di Spagna and Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina.
The aim of VFNO is to celebrate fashion while restoring consumer confidence and boosting the industry’s economy. This year’s proceeds will be donated to Differenza Donna, a Rome-based organisation that offers support to women and children who have been subjected to violence and social disadvantages.
“The Vogue Fashion’s Night Out […] will be an opportunity to strengthen the bond between Rome and the world of fashion,” says Marta Leonori, Assessor of ROMA Produttiva. “We will work to increase participation in order to celebrate the important role of fashion in our economic and productive landscape.”
Hosted by the eternal city – an icon of timeless fashion – the event promises to be a night of style, shopping and solidarity.
