OVERVIEW

Luisa, Maria Flora, Maria Grazia are three ceramic masters who are passionate about clay. It is a unique medium that helps people to bring their creative visions to life. At their studio, artisans crafted this workshop to offer others an opportunity to experience the artistic side of the pottery making process. Immersed in creative space surrounded by clay, ceramic, wheels and modeling tools, you will find yourself experimenting with traditional pottery techniques and eventually turning this raw ductile material into a beautiful piece of art. .

    One of my favorite experiences in Rome! Learning how to shape raw clay, glaze and color it was so fun and therapeutic. Also meeting such lovely artisans, talking to them and learning about their experience added on to the charm of their pottery studio.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Please note only €30 per person will be paid now, the remaining payment of €40 per person must be made on the day of the workshop.
  • The ceramic artists who will be teaching the class aren’t fluent in English but is able to communicate with everyone
  • The experience is suitable for beginners aged 13 and above.
  • Not suitable for wheelchair users.
  • It is allowed to take pictures and film videos during the workshop.

IMPORTANT:

You will not be able to take your work away at the end of the workshop. Drying and firing clay are time-consuming processes that take several days. Therefore, if you would like to take something for the memory, there is a possibility to buy ceramic from the ready-to-go pieces displayed at the studio or from the platform CraftMatters. If you wish to have your piece fired and delivered to your home, it is possible to receive a personalized quote.

  • Full refund up to 72 hours before the workshop
  • Cancellation fee of 25% of the total price after 72 hours before the workshop
