Spend a day at a family-owned winery in the hills of Frascati, making wine since 1712, with private transport from Rome included. After a private tour of the vineyard and historic cellar, choose between a wine tasting with local specialties or a tasting with a four-course lunch, each course paired with the estate’s wines. Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel make it an easy escape into Rome’s wine country.
The experience comes in two formats.
Wine Tasting: after a walk through the vineyards and a visit to the historic cellars, you taste three estate wines paired with artisanal Roman pizza, the estate’s olive oil and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Lunch: the same vineyard and cellar visit, followed by a multi-course Italian lunch overlooking the vines. Expect handmade pasta or regional specialties, artisanal cheeses and cured meats, and vegetables from the estate’s garden, each course paired with the estate’s wines, from Frascati Superiore DOCG to regional reds.
At the end of the visit you can buy wine and olive oil directly from the estate. Let us know about any allergies or dietary needs when booking, so the pairings can be adapted.
