The Florence Jazz Festival returns for its tenth edition, September 5-13

From 5 to 13 September 2026, the Firenze Jazz Festival celebrates its tenth edition with its most anticipated addition yet: a new main stage in the Giardino delle Scuderie Reali, at Porta Romana, a space granted by the Uffizi Galleries.

Six hectares of greenery in the heart of the Oltrarno, historically tied to Palazzo Pitti, which the Festival crosses for the first time. Organised with the City of Florence as part of the Estate Fiorentina, the event confirms its habit of moving between the city’s venues and stretching the boundaries of jazz towards reggae, hip hop, electronica and singer-songwriter music.

The programme

The heart of the line-up unfolds on the main stage from 11 to 13 September.

It opens on Friday the 11th with DJ Gruff, performing his 1999 milestone “O tutto o niente” live, alongside Alborosie & Shengen Clan, among the most respected names in international reggae. Saturday the 12th brings Altea, Pellegrino’s “Dance Rituals” and Casino Royale, marking the thirtieth anniversary of their 1995 album with the “Sempre più vicini Reloaded” tour. Sunday the 13th closes with Meraz, the meeting between Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld of Einstürzende Neubauten, and C’mon Tigre with their “Lumina” tour.

More dates follow at hu Firenze, the Vip’s Bar in Piazzale Michelangelo, the Rifrullo, Forte Belvedere and the Conventino, many with free entry.
