The Florence Jazz Festival returns from September 4th to 15th
From September 4th to 15th, the Florence Jazz Festival returns: eleven days of concerts featuring renowned names and new talents in contemporary jazz, held in some of Florence’s most beautiful locations.
A highlight of the Festival is the free admission to several events, along with affordable ticketing systems that bring the best of Italian and international jazz to Florence. This year, the main stage will again be in Piazza del Carmine.
The festival’s graphic design is entrusted to Luchadora, a visual artist. The concept she wanted to highlight was to give visibility to women who were pioneers in the world of jazz, such as the Sweethearts of Rhythm.
After 7 years of activity, the Florence Jazz Festival is enhancing the characteristics that have made it one of Italy’s leading music festivals, with over 30 concerts and more than 100 artists involved.
Among the headliners are Karima, Simona Molinari, Ment4l – Scandroglio / Stumbras / Mccreadie / Galeotti Feat. Seamus Blake, Ferdinando Romano 4tet, Alessandro Lanzoni Trio & Francesco Cafiso, Simona Bencini & Lmg 4tet, The Leaping Fish Trio, Camilla Battaglia & Simone Graziano, Hack out!, Valentina Fin Trio and many more.
