Discover Pigneto: Photo Walk + Aperitif

Tucked just beyond the city center, Pigneto is one of Rome’s most vibrant, creative enclaves — a colorful blend of street art, cafés, and the raw pulse of local life. This guided photowalk offers a fresh way to explore it: through your own lens.

Led by a professional photographer, the experience invites you to slow down, look closer, and capture the city not as a visitor, but as an observer — an artist, a lover, a poet.

We begin with a welcome coffee at a local photo gallery in Pigneto, where participants can meet, chat, and soak up the neighborhood’s easy rhythm. Followed by a short introductory video which sets the tone, tracing the city’s street-photography culture and the story of this ever-evolving district.

Then, cameras (or phones) in hand, we will head out for an intimate 80-minute walk through the neighborhood’s open-air gallery of murals, vintage corners, market chatter, and hidden courtyards. Along the way, you will pick up simple techniques in composition and visual storytelling — learning to read Rome through its textures, colors, and light.

As the sun dips, we will gather for an aperitivo in a local enoteca, sharing photos, conversations, and a taste of that quintessential Roman evening. Each guest will also receive a printed photograph of their choice as a memento of the day, a snapshot of Pigneto’s spirit through their own eyes.
