EX-CARTIERA LATINA

Revealing to the public, not very well known areas, such as the complex of the Ex-Cartiera Latina,a restored old paper mill, the 90dB–Festival Internazionale delle Arti Sonore, aims to promote and enhance the architectural and natural heritage of Rome.

The complex, surrounded by the Appia Antica Park, is a unique facility whose origin date back to 1061. In 1912 it became one of the largest factories for the production of paper in the city, and stopped working in the middle of the eighties. Since 1998 it has been granted to the Appia Antica Regional Park.

During the Festival, the Ex-Cartiera Latina will be open from 4 pm to 12 noon (except Thursday 11th, from 6.30 pm to 12 noon) with a food and drinks area and a relax area, deep in the green of the park.
