Festival di Caracalla

Arena Opera Festival

Held in one of the most prestigious Italian concert halls, the Arena di Verona is quite the spectacle in and of itself. Imagine how much better it gets with a show! The 102nd Arena di Verona Opera Festival will take place from June 13 to September 6, 2025, featuring an impressive lineup of operas and special performances that promise to enchant audiences all summer long.

Among the most anticipated operas are Nabucco, with performances scheduled throughout June, July, August, and the closing night on September 6; Aida, returning for numerous dates between June and early September; and La Traviata, which will be staged several times between late June and early August. Also featured is Carmen, lighting up the arena on various evenings in July, August, and early September, along with Rigoletto, which joins the program in August and closes the festival alongside Nabucco on September 6.

Beyond opera, the festival includes extraordinary special events such as Roberto Bolle and Friends on July 22 and 23, Jonas Kaufmann in Opera on August 3, Carmina Burana on August 15, Zorba the Greek on August 26, 27, and 31, and Viva Vivaldi. The Four Seasons Immersive Concert on August 27.

Kappa FuturFestival

If you are looking to party for 12 hours straight, the Kappa Futur Festival is where you want to be. Back again for its 12th edition, the festival keeps on getting better each year. Specializing in electronic and techno music, the festival is a great excuse to dance the day AND night away.

On the 4th July, expect to dance to Nina Kraviz, Adiel, and Paco Osuna – just to name a few. On the 5th, put on your dancing shoes again and head on over for shows by Dixon, Chris Liebing, and Anyma B2B Solomun – again just to name a few. Umbria Jazz Festival

Started in 1973, the Umbria Jazz Festival celebrates this year the 52nd edition and has become a worldwide favorite among jazz musicians and fans. Although the word “jazz” in its title may have you think that is the main music genre, the festival also welcomes other types of music. The new edition promises to be even more spectacular and will take place from August 13 to 16, 2025, at the Olbia Arena in Olbia.
