The very first wine bar in the car-free zone of central Pigneto, Cargo is the go-to bar in this buzzing area. Having had a major facelift following a change of management, the bar now has even more to offer.
The décor is simple but tasteful: the black and white themed interior is modern, but the vintage-style sofas give it a real hint of shabby chic. Outside, patio heaters warm the guests who enjoy a pint of Guinness, perching on rickety metal stools.
Cargo offers an extensive list of reasonably priced cocktails, ‘special drinks’, ’muddlers’ and spirits, as well as a grand variety of wine and craft beer and Guinness on draught. Aperitivo is upon request, and includes a selection of salamis, cheeses and beautiful bruschetta, served on rustic wooden boards. Dopo cena, monkey nuts taken from in a big empty beer barrel satisfy munchies.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the bar so there is no reason why you can’t sit there from sunset until the early hours of the morning, enjoying the DJ Sets, Live Music & Aperitivo Jazz and watching the world go by.
