Nightlife in Rome

Rome’s nightlife runs late and centres on a handful of neighbourhoods: aperitivo starts around 7pm, dinner follows, and bars and clubs fill up from 11pm until 2 or 3am. The liveliest areas are Trastevere, Monti, Testaccio, Campo de’ Fiori and San Lorenzo, each with its own mood, from cocktail bars and speakeasies to rooftops, live music and late-night clubs.
