Where Warm Hospitality, Refined Taste and Art Blend
Tucked just a step away from the bustling Via del Corso, and a stroll from Piazza di Spagna, DonnaE Bistrot is a restaurant worthy of being discovered alongside the city’s nearby cultural landmarks. Located within the charming and art-inspired Elizabeth Unique Hotel, this rooftop gem is open to both hotel guests and outside visitors, providing a memorable dining experience full of elegance and authenticity.
In the kitchen, Executive Chef Riccardo Pepe brings his Lucanian heritage to life in a menu that reimagines classic Italian recipes with creativity and care, without ever losing its original taste and comforting, homely feel. Each dish is carefully crafted from locally sourced ingredients that highlight the excellence of Italian produce.

From the Sibari rice and the spaghettone Senatore Cappelli to the bacon from the Basilicata region to the peperone crusco – the true star of Riccardo Pepe’s cuisine – the offer is tasty and distinct from those of nearby hotels. Each plate is designed to surprise both visually and gastronomically: vivid colours and inviting textures come together on luxurious tableware. In addition to meat and fish dishes, DonnaE Bistrot’s menu offers a couple of vegetarian options to meet the needs of a wide clientele. Brunch is served on weekends from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at a 55 euros prize.

If you are looking for a tasting experience, DonnaE Bistrot offers four tailor-made dinner menus – Initiale, Junior, Superior and Luxury – ranging from 65 to 90 euros, with the possibility of wine pairing (40 euros) with the best Italian labels.
I want to bring my land into dialogue with the world, combining tradition and innovation. Mine is a cuisine that wants to excite and leave a memory.
Chef Riccardo Pepe, Executive Chef

Unique Wine Labels from Across the Peninsula
The culinary journey is further enhanced by the professionalism of the staff and the expertise of Dario Chieffalo, F&B Manager and Sommelier at DonnaE Bistrot. His passion for wine is evident in the well curated selection that spans from organic wines to Italian to international champagnes. These include the historic Cantina Enrico Serafino 1878 from the Piedmont Region, which has chosen DonnaE Bistrot as one of its reference points in Italy. Most wine labels comes from Southern Italy niche wineries, providing a truly unique experience. Each wine on the list tells a story of terroir, passion and authenticity. Our selection starts from the heart of southern Italy and goes all the way to Piedmont, valuing small producers and native grape varieties that express the soul of our roots, explaines Dario.

A Movie Night Under the Stars
The intimate and cozy terrace overlooking the charming street of Via della Frezza, is surprisingly quiet, creating the impression of being at a very elegant and well-maintained private home or in a movie set. And, speaking of cinema, summer evenings at DonnaE Bistrot hold something truly special. Starting May 15, the restaurant launches “CineCena,” a new initiative that combines cinema and cuisine. Every Friday, guests can sip an icy cocktail at the terrace and enjoy dinner while classic Roman movies play in the background. A special event on June 19 pays tribute to the South with a screening of Basilicata Coast to Coast, accompanied by a Lucanian-inspired buffet that tells the story of the region through taste.
