A stylish fish restaurant in Rome’s Prati neighbourhood

Walk along Via Emilio Faà Di Bruno in the Prati neighbourhood to have your eye caught by the trendy design and dimmed lights of Banchina 63. Step inside the restaurant to feel as if you were on a boat navigating the Mediterranean on a seafood culinary journey. And what a boat! The restaurant’s design is contemporary with wooden tables, exposed white polished bricks, lamps covered in fishermen-style nets and a stylish yet cozy atmosphere. In the first room, a striking bar with a raw fish station awaits you – the perfect place for an aperitivo (€8 or €15). Sit down at the bar or in one of the tables to savour Banchina 63’s Ammericano cocktail – a twist of the classic Americano – and to enjoy a raw fish platter or some yummy taralli. While for lunch or dinner, head to the second room, more spacious and ideal for your lunch breaks or romantic dinners.
On board, a young and friendly crew led by two captains will serve you. But the protagonist at Banchina 63 is the seafood. Fresh, quality fish is brought in every day to serve you the best possible products. The crew has such passion in creating simple yet flavour-packed dishes that you won’t easily forget! My favorite dish of the night was the “Rosso di Mazara”, red shrimp with datterino tomato and ginger soup, fresh burrata, caramelized lime zest and black vanilla salt flakes, I can’t explain enough the delicate and everlasting flavours of this yummy starter! As a first course, you can’t go wrong with Banchina 63’s signature pasta dish – Paccher0 B63 – with the catch of the day, confit tomatoes, fresh thyme and chili threads. But it’s a hard match with the yummy Burro e Alici pasta!
