Wine may still be the drink of choice for many Italians, but quality beer is hot on its heels. Fans should not miss Birròforum, which this June hosts 20 of Italy’s finest breweries at its festival village in the gardens of Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz (Farnesina). Birròforum promises to take enthusiasts on a journey through the traditional brewing process, offering talks, tasting and displays from experts in the field.
Alongside a huge variety of artisan beers will be a street food fair featuring Italy’s tastiest cuisine, vintage games and guided tastings with the brewmasters.
