Vicus Caprarius: the Trevi Fountain Underground
Discover Vicus Caprarius, the archaeological treasure nestled beneath the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
I was born in Tilburg, The Netherlands and I visited Rome for the first time when I was 17 years old. It was love at first sight and I knew immediately that I would come back to Rome. After graduating Art History at Utrecht University I came to Rome five months ago to follow an Italian language course. The course ended and I went back to The Netherlands, but I knew instantly that I wanted to go back to Rome to live there. As a lover of art, culture and history, how could I not?! The last five months have been nothing but exploring the city, walking through the sun-filled, vibrant streets of Rome and entering museum after museum, and church after church. Spending the summer in The Netherlands, I am working now on returning to Rome in October. In my spare time you will find me visiting museums, strolling through vintage markets or reading or writing in the park.
